SILICONE PRIMER
When it comes to bonding addition-type and peroxide-system unvulcanised silicone rubber to metal, PA, or PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), silicone primer is the primary solution.
●Silicone kitchenware products ●Silicone diving glasses ●Silicone parts, silicone rubber rollers
●Good adhesion ●Long storage for after-primer-coated substrates ●High temperature tolerance for second cure of silicone rubber
| Appearance | Transparent liquid or gel |
| Viscosity | <100000mpa.s |
| Temperature Resistance: | -60~180℃ |
| Specifical gravity | 1.28 g/cm3 |
1. Chemical treatment of the substrate with solvent, Cleare oil and dust . 2. Mix completely the A and B with ratio 1:1 and apply the primer by dipping, brushing, spraying or silk screen printing method. 3. Baking at 90-135℃ for 15-20mintes. 4. The primer treated substrates are processed within that day.
5. Foward the unvulcanized silicone rubber with primer-coated substrates in mouding process or hot air vulcanization.
•Storage: Dry, shaded. No heat, no fire.
• After use: Cap tightly – prevents vapor loss. Store used primer separately for longer life.
• Hazard: Solvent is harmful. Use with ventilation, no flames. Avoid breathing vapor or prolonged skin contact.
• Compatibility: Test primer with substrates before mold curing. Do not contact N, P, S, or Sn, Pb, Hg, Sb, Bi – will inhibit cure.
1000ml/Bottle or 3KG/Bottle Keep the product sealed and stored at 20℃-25℃ away from light and heat, shelf life for 3 months.
